Experiencing Chautauqua – Ginger Cove Style

September 2, 2011

Friday, September 2, 2011 – As seen in “The Capital”

At the height of the Chautauqua movement at the turn of the 20th century, those hungry for intellectual stimulation were willing to travel long distances, often by train, to reach the summer assembly sites that sprang up across the country. Luckily for Ginger Cove residents, they only had to get to Friendship Hall, around the corner from the retirement community’s main dining room, to experience their own Chautauqua-style gathering.

Come be our guest. Take a tour. Ask questions. It’s the best way to decide to be here all the time. Call 410-266-7300 to schedule a tour of our community.

“The younger you are when you move in, the better able you are to pamper yourself and be able to participate in anything you want to do. We wanted to enjoy all of the activities - such as bridge, shuffleboard, bocce ball, billiards, and miniature golf - and be fit enough to do it.”
