Ginger Cove Honors Local Artists With Tea

November 18, 2010

Ginger Cove recently hosted a reception to recognize the Annapolis-area artists whose work – from woven ribbons to watercolor to oil and acrylics – grace the halls of the community’s new Wellness Center. Artists Lee Boynton, Carolyn Councill, Kay Kandra, Bill Jaeger, Bill Schmidt and Wendy Woodham were all present to receive admiration and expressions of appreciation from the residents, many of whom were involved in the selection of the artwork.

“I think it is difficult to discipline oneself to exercise alone, so being in a class makes it fun. Water aerobics is a godsend. We have an excellent teacher who varies our exercises but keeps us working on our strength, flexibility, balance, stamina, cardio conditioning and muscular endurance. I love knowing I am keeping fit while having a great time in the process.”
