Charitable Giving

The Ginger Cove Foundation

The Ginger Cove Foundation was established in 2002 as a not for profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization to conduct fundraising activities to benefit and support Ginger Cove.

Residents, family members and friends give generously to support programs that enrich the quality of life for residents and create a margin of excellence at Ginger Cove. Areas of donor interest include the 21st Century Fund, an unrestricted fund for the long-term benefit of Ginger Cove; the Endowment for Employee Scholarships; the Health Center Fund; and Grounds Beautification. Residents benefit directly from these initiatives through improvements to campus facilities, quality of service, and health and wellness programs.

Ways to Give

Gifts can be made in the form of cash, securities, life insurance, bequests or by designating a portion of the entrance fee refund to the Foundation. Many individuals have made plans to include Ginger Cove in their estate plans through charitable gift annuities, which allow donors to give more than they thought possible and, at the same time, benefit from tax advantages and income for life.

Residents and family members can also make commemorative gifts in memory or honor of a friend or loved one. All gifts are fully tax-deductible under IRS regulations.

To receive more information or inquire about making a gift in support of Ginger Cove, please call the Foundation office at 410-224-8105 or email foundation@gingercove.com.
